What We Do

  • Facilitated human-centred design workshops
  • User journey mapping, persona development
  • User interface design, brand alignment
  • Wireframing and interaction design
  • High fidelity prototyping that ‘looks and feels’ like the real thing
  • Facilitated user testing, analysis and recommendations reports
  • Technical recommendations for implementing designs

How We Do It

Our unique consultative approach and ability to process extremely complex business processes and environments make us UX designers 'on steroids' - designers that deeply understand business and technology providing you with high fidelity design prototypes you can test with users early.

Our approach to design sprints takes your project from concept to visual map to mock-up to high fidelity interactive prototype in weeks instead of months allowing you to get real user feedback fast and optimise designs quickly.

The best part of our integrated approach is that we use this rapid prototyping to dramatically reduce the cost of implementation. By using interactive prototypes as detailed requirements for software developers to follow - we combine this with our unique six-part 'user story' creation framework to capture all the requirements for engineering without wasteful 'development iterations' chewing up time and money.

Australian Financial Services Software Company

We were able to help our client redesign the user experience design principles of their software while we also establishing a new user interface design framework for them. We provided a range of services to get them from initial concept all the way through implementation.

Activities we undertook throughout this engagement included:

  • Analysis of existing research undertaken by the client
  • Independent research and interviews with different user groups
  • Development of persona models
  • Solution design workshops mapping out core requirements
  • Creation of experience maps and user journeys
  • Development of robust information architecture
  • Initial wireframing and user interface prototyping
  • Design sprints creating high-fidelity interactive prototypes
  • Facilitation of user testing sessions and focus groups

Australian Underwriter

Our client had existing back-office software to design their insurance products, however, they wanted a modern, easy to use solution for their sales channels to be able to customise, quote and bind their insurance products.

Activities we undertook throughout this engagement included:

  • Independent research and interviews with different user groups
  • Development of persona models
  • Solution design workshops mapping out core requirements
  • Creation of experience maps and user journeys
  • Development of robust information architecture
  • Initial wireframing and user interface prototyping
  • Design sprints creating high-fidelity interactive prototypes
  • Facilitation of user testing sessions and focus groups
  • Stakeholder engagement supporting our client to present new designs across the business and to partners
  • Collaboratively writing 'user stories' for the engineering team to implement
The solution we designed together has surpassed their expectations and those of their sales channel, providing a platform that makes it easy to transact and makes their competition look antiquated.

Start-Up based in Australia

Our client had a clear vision of the potential for his software solution, understood the product-market-fit and his team was already well on the way of developing the financial aspects of the solution. Unfortunately, the founder struggled to envision his solution as a complete software product.

We worked together through a series of solution design workshops to map out the fundamentals of the brand, the key personas and the information architecture. Once this was complete we were able to turn around high fidelity prototypes of multiple apps in a very compressed timeline to suit his budget and deliver the outcome and clarity he needed.
